Do Turpak Automation Systems meet the requirements stipulated by EMRA?
The Board Decision published by EMRA provides general information about the systems. Beyond this, Turpak Automation Systems comply with the requirements of this Board Decision, but also have many more features not specified in the decision.
Does Turpak software offer a complete station solution?

Turpak systems, software and services are designed to serve a complete station. The systems have a modular structure and can be supplied partially or completely. Thanks to its modular structure, the units or systems to be added to the system or systems work in full compatibility with the existing systems. It does not require additional system or general system revision.

Are Turpak Automation Systems compatible with all pump brands?
Turpak automation systems are compatible with all known and frequently used pumps in Turkey and the world. The compatibility of rarely preferred pump brands with automation is provided by our local R&D team in line with customer demand.
Does Turpak Automation Systems have a control mechanism within itself?
Turpak automation systems have a control mechanism based on the logic of automatically comparing the sales made during the shift with the sales information obtained from the pump totalizer.
How does the Turpak Call Center work?
The Turpak Call Center operates on a 24/7 basis and provides support to approximately 5000 stations using the Turpak Automation System across Turkey by phone and by directing field teams when necessary. The Turpak Call Center is designed to benefit from all the opportunities of today's technology, and workflows between all our units are carried out electronically and monitored online. We provide field service through our regional directorates and authorized dealers with a wide service network infrastructure throughout Turkey.

How long we keep your information will depend on the purpose for which we use it.
We only keep your information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice and to fulfil our legal obligations.  We have internal rules that set out how long we retain information.

We will keep your personal data for as long as you are a customer of Gilbarco.
This includes situations whereby one of our products is still feasibly considered to be operational and/or in the possession of the individual or company who purchased the product. This is to enable us to respond to any questions or complaints, as well as to fulfil further requests including, but not limited to, the replacement, servicing and/or upgrades of our products. If any of the above ceases to apply, we will keep your data for up to a maximum of 10 years from the date of your last contact with us. This is to enable us to stay in touch about updates to our products and services which may be of renewed interest to you, as well as for our own reporting and customer insight purposes.
If you are not a customer of Gilbarco (in other words, there has not been a completed transaction with you or your company), we will keep your personal data for a maximum of 5 years after your last contact with us. We will only send marketing communications to you for a maximum of 2 years after your last contact with us.]

Who do we share your personal data with?

We share your personal information with third parties who perform functions on our behalf and who also provide services to us, such as professional advisors, IT consultants carrying out testing and development work on our business technology systems, research and mailing houses and function co-ordinators, our distributors who are providing services and/or support activities on our behalf.
We share your personal information with our other Fortive Group companies for internal reasons, primarily for business and operational purposes.
As we continue to develop our business, we may sell or purchase assets. If another entity acquires us or merges with us your personal information will be disclosed to such entity.
If any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, all such information will be considered an asset of ours and as such it is possible they will be sold or transferred to third parties.

If you ask us to stop processing your information, and if we do not require this personal information to fulfil our contractual obligations, we will remove your data from our database, within 30 days of the date of the request.

Do we make automated decisions concerning you?

Hubspot, the marketing platform to which we subscribe to, has a built-in Predictive Lead Scoring functionality which may be used for automated decisions. A Predictive Lead Score is assigned to each contact profile. This is calculated by an algorithm which combines user demographic information with behavioural data relating to user engagement across our various digital platforms, namely: marketing emails; website and landing pages; and social platforms. Predictive Lead Scores may be used to identify and prioritise opportunities for automatic follow up, whether by telephone or email.

Turpak automation systems are compatible with all known and frequently used communication infrastructures.
Do Turpak products have international approval certificates?
Since Turpak products and services are used all over the world, they have been certified by internationally recognized approval and audit organizations. These certificates guarantee that Turpak systems are designed for hazardous environments such as fuel stations and include all kinds of safety, occupational safety and functional features.
Which types of vehicles can the Turpak Vehicle Identification System be applied to?
Turpak Vehicle Identification System can be applied to all types of fuel-consuming transport vehicles (rail, sea, land and air vehicles) and various mobile and/or fixed construction machinery with electromagnetic identification equipment that can calculate mileage and working hours.
Are Turpak products tested before reaching the end user?
The hardware and software that form the basis of Turpak Automation Systems are subjected to laboratory tests, first individually and then combined as a system.
